According to Klein’s FINRA BrokerCheck Report, the most recent complaint, filed on October 14th, 2022, alleges the advisor made unsuitable recommendations to purchase governmental agency bonds for the customer’s portfolio between September 2016 and June 2022, and further alleges Klein misinformed the investor of their potential risk related to rising interest rates. The complaint is currently pending and alleges $24 million in investor damages.
A second investor complaint, also filed on October 14th, 2022, alleges Klein made unsuitable recommendations to purchase governmental agency bonds for the customer’s portfolio between December 2020 and November 2021, and further alleges Klein misinformed the investor of their potential risk related to rising interest rates. The complaint is currently pending and alleges $10 million in investor damages.
