According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Edward Thomas Munoz was discharged from LPL Financial on March 3rd, 2023 due to allegations that he used a firm-unapproved messaging application to communicate with a customer.
Munoz was previously hit with two customer complaints. In his most recent complaint, the customer alleged poor recommendations and gross incompetence of his account while invested with Principal Securities. The complaint was settled in favor of the investor for $95,862.13. Munoz’s second complaint was settled for $157,662.46 and alleged that the customer’s account was invested aggressively, which resulted in poor performance and losses.
