Vincent Bailey is a registered broker with Berthel, Fisher & Company Financial Services, Inc. in Batavia, IL. According to records from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Bailey is facing a customer complaint alleging that he did not give suitable investment advice and overconcentrated the customer’s accounts in alternative investments and private placements. The customer further alleges Bailey misrepresented the investments, causing damages of $180,000.
Bailey has been involved in two other customer disputes, which have been settled in favor of the investors. In May 2022, customers alleged that investments recommended were not suitable, were overconcentrated, and misrepresented. This complaint was settled for $42,619.05. In July 2019, another customer alleged that investments recommended by Bailey were not suitable and were misrepresented, leading to a settlement of $50,000. Additionally, in May 2009, the Illinois Division of Insurance fined Bailey $5,000 for misleading representations and improper identification in advertisements sent to insurance clients. Before joining his current firm, Bailey worked with Consolidated Financial Investments, Inc.; Aegon USA Securities Inc.; and Continental Capital Investment Services, Inc.
