Merrill Lynch Broker Spencer Miller Faces Customer Complaints

Spencer Miller, a stockbroker registered with Merrill Lynch, and based in Westlake Village, California, has been hit with several customer complaints. A customer complaint filed with FINRA on July 25, 2023 alleges that Miller made unsuitable recommendations regarding private placements. A complaint filed on December 14, 2023 alleged that Miller made investment recommendations that were not in the best interest of the client, concerning the sale of private securities. This complaint was denied by the firm. A second complaint filed on December 7, 2023 alleged Miller of misappropriated investor funds. As with the previous complaint, the complaint was denied by the brokerage firm. Although these complaints were denied by the firm, investors should be aware that the denial of a customer complaint by a brokerage firm does not mean that the complaint does not have merit.
