PlanMember Broker Sherwin Sargeant Barred by FINRA 

Financial advisor Sherwin Sargeant resigned from PlanMember Securities on June 15, 2023, following allegations that a background check revealed that the representative appeared to have additional undisclosed outside business activities. The representative allegedly had cooperated with the firm’s review however they resigned prior to providing all requested information. Following his resignation, Sergeant was barred from acting as a broker by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) because he failed to provide on-the-record testimony as requested by FINRA during its investigation into his involvement with undisclosed outside business activities, including those potentially relating to crypto assets.
