Financial Advisor Russ Fieger Faces Investor Complaint

According to FINRA BrokerCheck, broker Russ Fieger is involved in a pending customer complaint alleging $325,000 in damages due to breach of fiduciary duty, lack of suitability, impermissible overconcentration and misrepresentation & omission of material information related to the sale of an alternative investment in Direct Investment-DPP & LP Interests. A previous customer complaint filed in 2010, during Fieger’s time at Cornerstone Securities, resulted in an $86,600 settlement in 2014. Additionally, Kansas securities regulators filed an action involving Fieger in 2014 regarding exchange-traded funds, resulting in an $86,000 restitution order.
