National investment loss lawyers KlaymanToskes is investigating broker Michael Grande (CRD# 1219255) of Newbridge Securities, who has been permanently barred from acting as a broker by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”), following his failure to fully provide information requested by the regulator in connection with its investigation into the suitability of his recommendations to his customers to engage in short-term trading of mutual funds.
FINRA’s complaint alleges that during a call with FINRA, Grande stated that he did not have access to the paperwork related to the customers identified in an information request and that he could not recall the specific strategies that were in place for the identified customers. By failing to provide the information requested in two information requests, Grande violated FINRA Rule 8210 and FINRA Rule 2010.
Finra reported that it served Grande with the first notice of the complaint in April of 2024, and the second notice in May 2024. Grande reportedly failed to respond by June 10, for which Finra barred him from the industry.
According to FINRA BrokerCheck, broker Michael Grande was previously registered with Newbridge Securities from 2005 to May 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. On May 31, 2022, Newbridge Securities filed a Uniform Termination Notice for Securities Industry Registration (“Form U5”) disclosing that Grande had voluntarily terminated his association with the firm.
