The SEC’s complaint alleges that Edelman falsely told investors their funds would be invested in digital assets, however, he only invested a small portion of investor funds, and instead used a significant amount of investor funds for his personal expenses. Further, Edelman is facing a pending customer complaint which alleges $247,262 in damages due to suitability, overconcentration, failure to supervise, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation, and omission of facts, and lost opportunity.
