Edward Cohen, a broker currently registered with Truist Investment Services, LLC, has reportedly been involved in a customer complaint. The complaint alleged that the customers were recommended to invest in a Guaranteed Investment Contract which was unsuitable. The complaint was settled in favor of the investor for $735,000. Cohen is registered as a broker with Truist Investment Services in Bal Harbour, FL.

According to the broker’s comment listed on the disclosure: “At the time of the sale this recommendation was suitable for the client. However, to avoid the uncertainty and expense of litigation, the firm without admitting to the allegations or liability thereof, settled the matter with the customer. The registered representative is not responsible for any portion of the settlement.”
