Broker Chadwick Watson Faces $380K in Customer Complaints

Financial advisor Chadwick Watson, formerly of Lincoln Financial advisors, is currently facing numerous customer complaints alleging unsuitable investment recommendations in oil & gas investments. The customers involved in three separate complaints allege $380,000 in collective damages. According to FINRA BrokerCheck, broker Chadwick Watson was employed with Lincoln Financial Advisors (now known as Osaic FA) until October 2024 in Annapolis, MD. Watson is currently registered as a broker and investment advisor with LPL Financial.

According to the broker’s comments listed on the disclosures, “This claimant moved their claim to this new arbitration due to geographic reasons. The original arbitration number was 24-00348, filed on 2/14/2024.” Additional brokers’ comments state “I vehemently deny any merits to the claim that the investment was “unsuitable”. The claim was a class action suit again Lincoln Financial not me as the advisor.” and “We vehemently deny any merits to the claim that the investment was “unsuitable”. The claim was a class action suit against Lincoln Financial not me as the advisor.”
