According to FINRA BrokerCheck, broker Ceondre Colvin, formerly of NYLife Securities, is currently being investigated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) for alleged violations of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010 for failing to provide information and documents requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into his termination from NYLife (Wells Notice #20240820134).

Colvin was terminated from NYLife Securities on May 30, 2024, after a review found, among other things, that he made unauthorized withdrawals from two customers’ bank accounts to pay for his personal expenses. A Fraud Report was allegedly filed with the Pennsylvania Division of Insurance.

Ex-NYLIFE Broker Ceondre Colvin Faces FINRA Investigation

Financial advisor Ceondre Colvin was terminated from NYLife Securities after a review by the firm found, among other things, that he made unauthorized withdrawals from two customers’ bank accounts to pay for his personal expenses. Additionally, the allegations disclose that a Fraud Report was filed with the Pennsylvania Division of Insurance. Colvin is currently being investigated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) (Wells Notice #20240820134), for failing to provide information and documents requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into his termination from NYLife. FINRA made a preliminary determination to recommend that disciplinary action be brought against Ceondre Colvin alleging violation of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010 for failing to provide information and documents requested pursuant to FINRA Rule 8210.
