Barry Bellina, a financial advisor based in Metairie, Louisiana, has been registered as a broker with MML Investors Services since 2017. Bellina’s FINRA BrokerCheck record includes one investor complaint filed in November 2024 related to variable universal life insurance policies recommended during his time at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. The customer complaint alleged that the premium payments made on the Variable Universal Life policies, between 1995-2024 outweighs the policy’s benefit, and if the policy was intended primarily as an investment or estate planning tool, it may not have provided the best financial returns, compared to other options. The complaint was closed.
