Broker Akinfolarin Sessi Barred by FINRA

Financial advisor Akinfolarin Sessi of Edward Jones has been terminated from the firm and permanently barred from acting as a broker by FINRA, following allegations that he refused to appear for on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation into his involvement in a business activity outside the scope of his relationship with his member firm. On August 19, 2024, Edward Jones filed a Uniform Termination Notice for Securities Industry Registration (Form U5) terminating Sessi’s registration through the firm. The Form U5 stated that Sessi was discharged due to “[f]ailure to provide complete information during a compliance investigation.”
