Aramis Guerin Customer Alleges Unauthorized and Excessive Trading

According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Aramis Jon Guerin has one customer complaint filed which alleges $115,011 in damages due to unsuitability, excessive trading/commissions, unauthorized trading, and negligence. The complaint was filed on March 3rd, 2023 by multiple customers against several financial representatives of SW Financial.

Unauthorized trading is a securities violation which occurs when a broker/financial advisor buys or sells a security or securities in a non-discretionary customer account, without prior customer authorization. This represents a sales practice violation and includes a broker/advisor’s misuse of “discretionary” authorization to make transactions on the behalf of their customer.

A financial professional cannot misuse or exceed their authority in order to generate commissions from excessive trading or “churning”, or unsuitable investment strategies.
