Aegis Capital Corp. Broker Bryan Lubitz Faces Complaints

Financial advisor Bryan Lubitz, formerly of Aegis Capital Corp., is currently facing a pending customer complaint. A complaint filed in November 2025 alleges $100,000 in investor damages due to misrepresentation of the risk and potential return of alternative investments. A previous investor complaint filed in October 2025 alleged suitability concerns of equity sales, and was settled in favor of the investors $17,500.

Another customer complaint filed in 2023 alleged suitability, churning, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, unauthorized trading, negligence, misrepresentation, and omission of material facts. The complaint was settled in favor of the investor for $139,224. The broker’s comment listed on the disclosure states “The client made allegations that were unrelated to me. I deny all allegations made against me from this individual. I was not privy to any negotiations and did not participate in the settlement.”

According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Lubitz was registered with Aegis Capital Corp. from August 2015 to December 2022. Lubitz is currently registered as a broker with Equitable Advisors at Melville, NY.
