According to FINRA BrokerCheck, broker Roger Follis has been terminated by B. Riley Wealth Management following allegations that he failed to communicate with clients in a firm-approved manner, failed to maintain books and records for a period of time, failed to timely report a customer complaint, and submitted incorrect information in compliance questionnaires.

Financial advisor Roger Follis, formerly associated with B. Riley Wealth Management, was reportedly terminated from B. Riley Wealth Management in February 2024, due to allegations related to failure to communicate with clients in a firm-approved manner, failure to maintain books and records for a period of time, and failure to timely report a customer complaint, submitted incorrect information in compliance questionnaires. According to the broker’s comment on the disclosure: “Roger Follis was in the process of resigning due to turmoil at B Riley. He and his business partner were already interviewing with other firms. But before they could submit their official resignations, B Riley terminated them.”
Broker Roger Follis has also reportedly been involved in a customer complaint. A complaint filed in December 2023 was settled in favor of the investors for $1,750,000. The broker’s comment for the disclosure states: “This client is ultra-high net worth. He consistently performed well. In 2019 alone, his combined accounts made profits exceeding +$2 million. The client admitted in writing there was no wrongdoing involved. I settled for two reasons: avoid the costs of litigation and focus on our growing business”
According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Follis was registered as a broker with B. Riley Wealth Management from July 2022 to March 2024 in Washington, DC. Follis is currently associated with Alliance Global Partners.
