Financial Advisor Jason Salmon Faces Customer Dispute Allegations

Jason Salmon, a financial advisor with FNEX Capital in Torrance, California, is facing an investor complaint alleging $999,999 in damages, according to records from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). The complaint further alleges that Salmon failed to conduct reasonable due diligence prior to making investment recommendations, and also misrepresented and omitted material facts. Salmon currently works as a broker with FNEX Capital and used to work with Growth Capital Services and WealthForge Securities.  In addition to working at FNEX Capital, Salmon is also reportedly a senior vice president at Kay Properties. This is a company that purportedly deals with Delaware Statutory Trust investments. 

Salmon’s BrokerCheck record also discloses an additional customer complaint from 2022 which alleged that WealthForge Securities did not conduct reasonable due diligence on an investment offering and that their representative misrepresented to them that the investment was a safe investment and recommended an unsuitable investment. This complaint was settled in favor of the investors for $1,500,000.
