Financial Advisor Joe Hirthler Faces $3M Investor Complaint

Joe Hirthler is currently facing a customer complaint which alleges $3,000,000 in investor damages. According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Hirthler is currently registered as a broker with LPL Financial and as an investment advisor with Jacobi Capital Management in Pittston, PA and Wilkes Barre, PA. The complaint, filed in July 2024, claims that Hirthler did not follow the customer’s instructions on option trades. This allegedly led to poor performance of the customer’s investments, and losses of $3 million.  

Hirthler has been in the securities industry for 39 years and has worked with LPL Financial since 1993, and with Jacobi Capital Management since 3009. He is based in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and has licenses to work in 36 states.
