According to FINRA BrokerCheck records, Jihoon Park of MML Investors Services has been hit with an investor complaint alleging $2,658,000 in investor damages due to unsuitable recommendations to invest the client’s money into crypto currency. The customer further alleges the representative then stole and converted her life savings from those investments.
Park was suspended from acting as a broker by FINRA in July 2025, and will continue to remain suspended until required information is provided to FINRA or the suspension converts to a bar.

Jihoon Park, a former financial advisor based in Fairfax, VA, was registered as a broker with MML Investors Services from April 2016 to December 2022. Park’s FINRA BrokerCheck record includes one investor complaint filed in November 2024 related to unsuitable recommendations to invest in cryptocurrency, with the customer seeking $2,658,000 in damages. The complaint further alleges that the representative stole and converted the customer’s life savings from those investments and that the Firm is responsible for the wrongful acts of the registered representative.
Park was suspended in all capacities by FINRA in July 2025. FINRA reported that pursuant to FINRA Rule 9552 and in accordance with FINRA’s Notice of Suspension letter, Park is suspended from associating with any FINRA member firm in all capacities. If Park fails to request termination of the suspension within three months of the date of the Notice of Suspension, he will automatically be barred on October 6, 2025 from association with any FINRA member in all capacities pursuant to FINRA Rule 9552(h).
