The Securities Arbitration Law Firm of KlaymanToskes Investigates Securities Arbitration Claims Regarding UBS Renaissance Institutional Equities Fund and The Satellite Multi-Strategy Access Fund

The Securities Arbitration Law Firm of KlaymanToskes announced today that it is investigating securities arbitration claims regarding UBS Renaissance Institutional Equities Fund I and the Satellite Multi-Strategy Access Fund. These funds were sold by UBS Financial Services (“UBS”) to its clients. According to documentation available on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s  (“SEC”) website, on December 2, 2009, UBS Renaissance filed a Form D stating that the Fund began offering its shares on March 2007, and that it had sold $221 million. Satellite Multi-Strategy Access Fund also filed a Form D in July 2007, stating that it began offering the Fund’s shares in July 2007, and that it had sold $71 million. Form Ds for both of these Funds list UBS as the “sponsor” of the Funds.

KlaymanToskes is investigating how these products were managed, and how UBS represented the risks associated with these investments. Also, KlaymanToskes is looking at whether the Funds were unsuitable for some investors who were advised to invest in the products.
