What is High Street Capital, LLC?

The customer complaint against Maria Norris Heredia addresses investment recommendations in High Street Capital, LLC, a cannabis investment company. According to an SEC complaint filed on June 19th, 2020, the securities and exchange commission obtained an asset freeze and temporary restraining order against the companies High Street Capital, LLC, High Street Capital Partners, LLC, and Hvizdzak Capital Management, LLC. The complaint alleges that from July 2019 to May 2020, Brothers Sean Hvizdzak and Shane Hvizdzak allegedly offered securities in a private fund and misrepresented fund performance to potential investors, including the use of fabricated financial statements and forged audit reports.

In one example stated in the complaint, Shane Hvizdzak misrepresented to an investor that “the Fund had 134.87 percent and 100.77 percent returns trading in digital assets in the second and third quarters of 2019” when in fact, “By the end of the third quarter of 2019, the Fund had lost 17.12 percent of its value.” The most recent filing on High Street Capital, LLC, now doing business under Acreage Holdings (OTCMKTS: ACRHF), was on June 11th, 2021 when the company entered into a Loan Sale and Assignment Agreement with Viridescent Realty Trust, Inc.
