According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Kyle Critcher, a former registered representative of LPL Financial in Fort Mill, SC, was suspended from acting as a broker by FINRA in December 2025, following allegations that he negligently misrepresented that corporate bonds he recommended to two senior customers were FDIC-insured certificates of deposit.

Financial advisor Kyle Critcher, formerly of LPL, has been suspended by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). Critcher consented to the sanctions and to the entry of findings that he contravened Section 17(a)(2) of the Securities Act by negligently misrepresenting that corporate bonds he recommended to two senior customers were FDIC-insured certificates of deposit.
On August 27, 2024, LPL Financial filed a Uniform Termination Notice for Securities Industry Registration (Form U5) terminating Critcher’s registration for “[f]ail[ure] to follow customer instructions to purchase certificate of deposit, in violation of Firm Code of Conduct.” Critcher is suspended for three months, fined $5,000, and required to requalify by examination before acting as a General Securities Representative with any FINRA member.
