Former First Southern Broker Jaime Sanchez Rivera Faces Customer Complaint

Jaime I. Sanchez Rivera, a former financial advisor, was registered with First Southern from August 2017 through May 2020 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. In December 2020, Sanchez had entered into a Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent (AWC) with FINRA, agreeing to a five-month suspension and a $10,000 fine. The AWC stemmed from allegations that Sanchez falsified a business document, forged a third party’s signature on the document, and later misled his member firm about the purpose of the falsification.
